School Council
The Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls has a dedicated and hard working School Council which has helped make a positive impact on school life and ensures that the ‘student voice’ is heard. Council members are democratically elected by their peers during form time and attend monthly council meetings. Regular meetings mean that the School Council keep up to date with projects and campaigns through discussion and debate. The school council gives pupils in the school the opportunity to have their voice heard through questionnaires, email and a suggestion box.
Using the feedback the School Council has been actively involved in the review and improvement of school policies, consulting with Ealing Council on local matters, improving the school surroundings and selecting Jack Petchey winners.
